DEFTECH LLC was established in 2021. The company’s executive director is Elmar Gadimov. One of its main goals is to carry out dual-use research and production in high technologies. Its areas of activity also include developing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems and tactical combat-flight simulators, providing technical services, and developing software.
DEFTECH currently cooperates with foreign companies specialised in telemetry, communications and robotics (Türkiye, the UAE, Slovakia and others). It also conducts research in UAV systems and provides technical, dealer and distributorship services in this field.
As a private company, DEFTECH LLC signed an agreement with the Space Instrumentation Experimental Plant of the National Aerospace Agency under the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for joint research in engineering and information technologies. Under the agreement, cooperation began on the joint creation, adoption and technical development of products. Military products created by the company were exhibited at the international defence exhibitions “Teknofest Azerbaijan” and “ADEX-2022” held in Baku in 2022, “IDEX 2023” in the United Arab Emirates, and “IDEF 2023” in Türkiye.
Products prepared by DEFTECH LLC include tandem-wing and tandem VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) reconnaissance UAVs, gasoline- and electric-powered strike drones carrying reconnaissance and combat warheads, and an 82 mm mortar-launching quadcopter.
